I really enjoyed your posters a lot! You put a lot of detail into the poster that kept me searching more and more to find all the little aspects. You incorporated so many contrasting lines and forms yet they seem to all fit together quite nicely. There is also this sort of grunge feel to your work that i noticed. Not in a bad way, aesthetically everything fit together great. I also really enjoyed that you kept the color schemes similar on both posters. By doing this you created this mood or setting for the images. The layering of images and color matching like i had said, worked together so well. In the top poster specifically i really liked how the line art in the border comes out onto the page itself. It added this whole new aspect to the poster because without it the picture would have been more flat and just a pretty picture. Yet by you bringing the border out into the actual picture it created another layer and gave the poster an entirely different feel. The bottom poster felt much more mellow to me. I think that the cooler color scheme of blues and wavy flowing line structure is the reason why. I really liked this poster. You showed both a close-up of the books pages and words along with a more pulled back view of the ruffled and torn edges of the book itself. Overall you made some great posters.
